I've just had 2 hours there to fill in my day. I only had makeral as bait. I got 4 whiting biggest around 8oz.

You did well,i used to fish the other side of the river and have had good sessions with whiting but the crabs are a nightmare.
New bait every 10 mins.

I've been back today, had 14 fish! Biggest around 1lb. Had a mix of whiting, coalies and codling.

nice one mate,there should be alot more if you fished into darkness,the river fishes well on a Southerly blow especially on the flood up to high water
