Me an me cousin fished Hartlepool prom on Friday night 2 up 2 down, just a few eels and rockling taking worms.
On Sat we fished low water near the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough 2 down 1 up with only small coalies to account for on worm n crab.
We then went to Whitby to fish the East pier up and 1 down. Any amount of coalies to 1 1/2lb on worm n crab, literally getting bites before the sinker had landed, great sport! Also a few decent sized whities which don't usually show on the East. Had a good weekend out though and am absolutely knacked, so am going to watch the new motor racing (A1) on Sky, then hopefuly Boro beating the Mackams.

Whitby East Pier, Sandsend beach and Sandsend Car Park always seems to have plenty of them, and they are often in the 1lb - 2lb bracket.
