Went fishing yesterday tea time, at craster using squid, rag, lug, mussel, clam, also a little bit macky first cast out nothing on squid and mussel together then i tried mussel by itself to my surprise the rod took one might bang and then nothing but slack line, so i picked my rod up and struck into it dammit snagged looky enough using a rotten bottom rig so there goes my weight and here comes my first codling of the season a nice red one weighing about 5-6lbs posted a pic on here some where but dunno how to put it in my post and then all night lots of coalies 1 decent size the rest were tiny but a good start

Been saying all summer that I want to head up and work along from Craster then finally give the back of the castle a try - as usual I've never got around to it yet!
