draged myself out of bed on sat morning at 5.45 and set off for lynmouth beach, got down there for 6am looked at the sea and and thought "b***cks what a waste of time and money spent on bait". anyway not one to give up i had arun down to newbiggin prom and met up with fishfinder and a few of his mates, had an hour or so with them with nothing to show for me. then moved south off the promenade onto the beach, changed from normal rag to white rag and within 10min pulled in a 1lb 4oz cod

nothing was doing after that and i had also ran out of fags so went up into newbiggin bought fags and more rag and had a wander allong nebiggin cliffs to try a bit fishing there. had a couple of chucks from the rocks with no joy. decided then to go for a wander and have a look at some low water marks, cambois beach and rocks, bog hall rocks, and cresswell ( bribones i think i have got a good idea of the marks down at cambois, well sort of). the sae had cied down a bit so went back to lynmouth and had a great afternoon there
6 coalie all under 1lb (returned)
    2 flatie (small and returned)
    4 whities (returned)
1 small eel orible creatures (returned)
1 cod. 4.5lb best of the season so far (kept) and lost another good one in the last breaker, it felt about the same or better than the first one.
from a cr*p start to a good ending

sorry for lack of pics, worked the first time cant figure out why it wont now

Nice one mate. I've had sessions where I seem to wander from one mark to another trying to find fish - usually in my case I don't succeed though! lol...
