    Well, on Saturday afternoon I joined the crowds on the end of shields pier in order to stock up on Macky and I wasn't dissapointed. They were coming in in 3's and 4's. Went back today for a bit of spinning fun, but only saw a hanfull caught all afternoon!

    late evening early morning on a low to high tide is best mate, can be a bit hit or miss through the day if you don't hit a shoal

      There was very few on tynemouth pier last night.

                Yeah mate ur ryt hardly any last night but at first light there were a load caught a couple ov lads on the end took two bag fulls home🎣.

                  Not many mackie on SSP yesterday or this morning. I only saw five caught over two hours and half a dozen lads this morning and I blanked boooo. The big shoals have moved off for now but they will be back

                    I was there early doors yesterday and had about 50. I left at about 7 after nesting my reel.
