sunday met up with davyred at 1:30 fished behind the white priory till 3:30, plenty doggies, mackeral etc. .
monday morning 6:00am fished cairnhead, me, mark & davy till 9:00, pollock and doggies.
fished behind the white priory at 11:00-1:00 throwing about 15 doggies up.
Tuesday morning all doggies.
only had sandeel and a few peeler as bait, but it was a change....and the drink and food was lovely in the "steam packet inn"

all fish taken on sandeel fished along the bottom, and the pollock taken on floatfished sandeel.
along the harbour wall at tea timeish every night was about 15 mullet upto 5lb feeding on scraps. tried everything to tempt them, but they wouldnt have it.
also along the harbour is bags of fish on a night time. The fisherman go out for 10days solid every morning dredge the bottom for oysters and come back every night. leaving bags of red gurnard lying along the port, each bag must weigh a load..as they had to drag them along, they then return to the "isle of man" for 4 days. What a life, i would find it really boring.

davy was spinning for pollock and floatfishing.
He was getting mackeral every chuck at the back of the "isle" at whithorn with the odd pollock (sunday)
monday, davy was getting pollock from cairnhead also.
we left tuesday afternoon, think davy is up till saturday, hope he gets some big'uns as i think he may have a shot up port logan.

car and it was terrbile about 30mins kip every night, lol.....pitched our tent like, but just stayed in car bit warmer
