Hi lads, just a quick shout out for dusty bins lead spinners, fished the beach just below the regency palace hotel which is about a mile from camra de lobos, used a 10ft telescopic rod and a light fixed spool.started off with redgills and shads but they kept coming back mangled up after a bit of a scrap and lost fish, switched to some spinners I bought off dusty bin last year and bang two barracuda the biggest being about 7lb....just goes to prove that lead spinner travelled nigh on 3000 miles and caught fish!!!!!had a great session in camra de lobos harbour groundbaiting with local mussel and prawn and mashed bread....report and pictures to follow when our lass figures out how to download them from her camera and put them on here, madeira beats the hell out of Mackie bashing!!!!

hi dusty, you couldn't of put it better, its pretty hard legging it along a volcanic beach with a fish going mental,it was like fighting on the cobbles, both took about 10 minutes to get in,these fish have some fish in there gob,the north east lures were the only thing they couldn't chomp through, proves never to fight with a geordie
