posted on 22/7/2005 at 17:52Well it just gets better and better....Hello all, things here are pretty good, weather is always good, though it's been particularly hot the last couple of days here - the inland areas are reaching 100-110 degF. strange but you actually tire of seeing the sun all the time! unless you do what i do and head for the beach to go fishing! (thats my excuse)
Thursday, went back to torrey pines beach, more girls in bikini's! oh and to go fishing! had an even better day, i had 3 batrays to 6.5lbs, 1 guitar fish - 9-10lbs, 1 small smoothound about 3lbs, 1 small croaker (which i used for bait - at 1/2lb), 2 leopard sharks 1 small one at 5lbs and then one at 25lb or so! absolutley amazing - in 2 feet of water and on 18lb line! took me a good 10-15mins to land. i had to go in the water to pull it out.... and to release it in front of a crowd that had gathered behind me - they all got out the water pretty fast - and stayed out from my area after that!like a scene out of jaws - never seen so many scared faces! you can definately smell fear you know!
Hope you all have a good weekend!
enjoy
