Gavin had 8 codling and a wrasse biggest codling 6&1/2lb Scott had 3 codling to 4lb and I had 10 codling to 2&1/2lb all on fresh crab.
Pretty disappointing with the size of the fish but there had been a club match on up there at the weekend with good bags of fish weighted in, thus removing the resident fish.
Woke today to find the east wind as forecast had put a lift on, although not strong force 3 to 4, it did put a lump on. Went up to johnshaven but it was to shallow to fish with the lump on so we moved to Gourdon, the slightly deeper water here made it fishable and Gavin had 3 to 5lb I had 3 to near 4lb and Scott (well lets just say we had to remove all sharp implements from him as he was not happy) Lol.
