    Fancy a float/ spinner session for the mackerel ( ill be taking no more than half a dozen if they're about) anyone been down and know whether the local ****e will be out in force on Blyth pier with their fosters and bad attitude? And actually, anyone had any fish there recently?

    Be very hard pushed to find any pier with none on.. They're out in swarms.. The makky and the scroats

      Just got back hardly any being caught on blyth loads of launce about not many macky tho
      Caught codling pollack whiting coaly flounder mackerel sprat rockling granny fish/sea scorpion launce

          i wads down there today. had a macy and loads of sand eels. have kept the sand eels for bait there in the freezer now

            Me and me brother and me youngest son been down pier tonight,got a few mackeral. pier full of numtys with bags of cans and slaughtering the mackeral for a laugh!!!

                    why in case i cast my self in. dude i am 36 years old. i am sure i aint like these so called numptys every one keeps going on about. i drink i relax i chill. And i fish all year round not like said numptys that come out in the sun

                        Agree fishing and drinking doesnt go swinging a 6 oz lead around tying knots a f ter a drink not good at all

                          I agree with both sides really having a beer on a spinning session aint the crime of the century but when ya loading up with a 6oz lead its a different story. I tend to stay away from drink when fishing in general but on a nice summers day inbetween when the back and arms start to get sore well why not as long as ya not getting mortal
