posted on 19/6/2005 at 23:44went upto arbroath today and the sea was well lumpy to start with, 4ft swell from the se left us with only a couple of marks that might produce and we opted for ethie.the farmer gave us some bad news that 3 car loads of guys had just left and only had 1 between them which didnt bode well,but they had fished over high,so we went down anyway as its a good low water shot. the water was fairly cloudy with visibility down to about 3ft,i had 3 codling to 3lb and a nice wrasse and andy had 4 codling to the same size and a wrasse that i am sure was the same one that i had as they were identical in size lol.
oh i forgot i also fell 30ft down the grassy cliff and ripped my breathable waders,funny thing is i couldnt stop laughing as i hurtled down lol.
