aye pete the pier was virtually spotless lats night and even cleaner after pier man came down, the plonkers in question brought 2 cases of ale down with them maybe 3 as they had that many bags with them, the one with the broken rod seemed on something when he arrived as he not have time to get drunk whilst i was there and was glad to get away when it was time for me to go home, they came down when rain was at its worst and never even had any dececnt clothing just relied on the tent but was good fun watichin put the tent up in that wind

If something happens to a kid on the pier overnight then it will be the end of out of hours fishing for all of us. PTO would be made to ensure pier was properly closed on a night time

I know what you mean mate but thankfully those sort of "anglers" are the minority and it would be a shame if they gave the rest of us a bad name.

This is why i like beaches rock edges cliffs its quite i would happily close all piers t o fishermen but its not fair but just my views how many people complain about there language and behaviour but how many report it or say something to the people

I take my daughter fishing quite regular and would not even think about keeping her out late yet alone over night ! Like already said when people turn up next to me effin and blinding they get told to move just the same as two older guys pitched up next to me and attempted to pendulum cast when I was with my daugher, they promptly got told to move as well.

its the same old story every year about the piers. When i go on in the summer i normally take a couple of spare carrier bags to clean up the cr@p and would urge every angler on here to do the same. We shouldnt have to but unfortunatley we will lose the piers if it keeps up. As for the child on the pier overnight thats just a disgrace the parent sounds as bright as a blackout.

OOPS can of worms lol, It was his daughter yes she was about 14 or 15 I'd say and she looked sick as a chip. It wasn't just the life belt out but the rope connected to life belt was wrapped around the light house. It was about 6.45 could hear a commotion coming from tent the lass had puked all over in there lol, couldn't believe the dad threw the tent over the small wall someone might think they caught a monster fish with that on lol.

Cheers for replies and opinions, to think we go early to beat the drunken chavs etc and get a good spot ey lads, there on to us, they camp out to beat us to the good spots haha.
