Hi all
I got all my light tackle out last night for the first time this year and headed for the beach close to the Pier where the gully runs up 40 yds from the Pier with the intention of spinning for the elusive bass (I know it,s a bit early)
I thought I,d try with Dexter wedge type spinners, surface poppers and shallow diving lures.I arrived at 8pm and got myself all togged out with my waders on and trouped down onto the beach, the weather was spot on,cryatal clear water but sadly no surf.
I started using the dexters to no avail so methinks I,ll change and try a popper, then all hell breakes loose and peace and quiet goes, the dreaded jetski arrives and the starts to speed up and down the whole length of the Big Beach so any self respecting Bass or any other species would have moved offshore instantly,so my hopes of connecting to any fish was finnitoed, ended.
Well better luck the next time!!!!!!!!!!!
Tight Lines and STAY SAFE.
