got there at 7am half tide down, not a soul about, half 8ish saw 2 blokes looking from prom ,oh no the divers are here, then another lad turns up with his fishing gear and says there loads of divers getting ready on the road,i told him of the problems ive had there when they just get in right where your fishing,he replied there not getting in here unless they want a lead stuck in one of them. thought great a bit of support for a change ,anyway they came down and one of them strolled over and said its a training area for divers,i then told him the bother i had last summer when they followed me right round crawleys till in the end i couldnt cast out and that this time im not packing up and wouldnt like anyone to get hit with a lead or hooks stuck in someome when reeling in.he said they would stay over towards crab hill side so me and the other lad (paul) said we would cast straight out.anyway just before they all got in another one came over and asked if we would look after all there car keys for a couple of hours,we declined saying we were not staying that long so he hid the keys in the rocks.good job we wern,t car thiefs, imagine trying to explain to your insurance company why your car had been nicked--lol.in the end i got a scotch haddock ,no other bites and the other lad had nowt when i packed up.nice morning to be out and missed the rain.amazed how easy it is to cast with the fixed spool at the bottom of the rod and great when winding in
