I had a pound and a half codling and two whiting in about three hours from the top of the ebb, tonight.
I know it was only a small one but i'm chuffed to pieces as its my first for over a year (due to work and laziness).
Not only that but i caught it on left over bait from Saturdays comp, so it diden't cost me owt.
I wrapped my worm in fresh paper Sunday night and when i got them out tonight they were sztill alive and if anything a little tougher.
Thanks to everyone who gave me advice!

Fingers crossed!
