posted on 30/11/2004 at 02:07Fished the north end south of the pipe. Started off pretty well with robfow getting a couple of Whiting very quickly. I got a couple of good ones just after, the best being a good pound and a half. We both got a few more as the night went on but just now and again. Did notice that they were all a decent size tonight no small ones at all. Made me wonder where they were on Friday night lol.
robfow caught something that I didn't recognise, he said it was called a Codling it was about a pound and a half. Was thinking about starting to target this species. Has anyone had any luck with them. Seem to think that I have seen them mentioned in the boat fishing forum lol.
Almost forgot, bumped into fishless as we were leaving. He had been fishing just past us on the beach also catching Whiting lol. Nice to see you again mate.
