posted on 21/11/2004 at 20:24Just back from a canny days fishing or maybe you could call it casting practice. First mark was the Doctors House ,massive sea running but no bites after a couple of hours so we moved to Cullernose ,after being beseiged by a flock of sheep blocking the road!! Anyway fished there for ages and still no bites GRRRR ,sea looked great with plenty of colour and movement ,baits used ..Crab, mussel,rag,lug,squid even tried mackarel. Should have known not to go as I broke my rod rest just putting it in the car this morning so had to wait for Frasers to open at 9 am.
Anyway I'll still be back as soon as I get the chance , maybe it might fish better when the sea dies off a bit.
And did you know you can rent the Doctors House from the Howick estate although the bloke who's there at the minute did say it was incredibly expensive, just in case any of you lads win the lottery lol
trid evrything I could but to no avail ...It's a frustrating game at times this fishing lark.
