posted on 18/10/2004 at 22:503 of us hit S.Sluice at about 5.30, about 30yds to the left of the iron post,, high tide at 8.00pm, bait,,, lug, rag, squid, maccy strip & razer.. Stue was first into the water,, I followed had a big hit seconds after the bait hit the water, gave it a good heave nowt, secconds later Stue landed a 2.1/2 bass,, the lucky bass tard ,, so me thinks that was mine then it changed it's mind, and went for his bait,,, It looked like a good night was comming up, a canny bass first cast can'nt be to bad, can it??? half an our later nothing,, then I landed a canny flounder, just on the high tide, then asmall whitey Stue nicks in with a small bass that put up a hell of a fight, alot more than his bigger one, not to be out done Idecieded to catch a bass, one popped up just a little to small to keep, mean while Col's done nowt sick as a parrot he was cuck after chuck, out long, in short ,nothingthen the last 2 casts he pulls in 2 flounders ,nowt fantastic but atleast he was on the score board.. So not to bad a evenings fishing, but not as prommising as it first looked.. Of to the West Coast of Scotland this weekend... Port of Carslile area so Will see whats happening over there,, I would guess at a lot of flatties and a load of ale ,,, one of the lads was talking of " Football Hole. somewere up Embldon way has any one got any thoughts an the area never fished it so all info is greatly accepted Ceers Tich
