Every chuck at Blyth harbour was hit as soon as the lead touched the bottom - minging with very small whiting.. literally chuck, wind in, rebait, chuck, wind in... got more than a little annoying after only a few minutes! Switched the biggest hooks in my box and loaded them with bait - clean as a whistle within 2 mins :-(
Still, fish is a fish and there was certainly plenty of them!
I'd give the area a miss unless you're desperate to get rid of some bait very quickly!
