Fished the little harbour wall on the Cambois side of the Wansbeck bay, only about 90mins around the high tide. 4 small plaice, all well marked and healthy looking but well undersize. 3 Flounders, of which one was clean and healthy, one had brown markings on the belly (the only in size fish typically) and the last a complete double dark side job with only one eyeball - freaky looking! Returned all the fish regardless.
Had to do a double take though when a fish cleared the water taking a bait fish - pretty sure it was a small school bass but may have been a small sea trout, got well clear of the water.
