posted on 29/2/2004 at 19:59Fished Blyth pier from 18.00-22.30,one codling 3 3/4lb caught on a cocktail of lug razor and mussle,there was lots of undersized fish upto 1/2lb.I was expecting a decent night as there was some excellent bites but the fish did'nt want to know.Seen one or two other decent fish brought in and there was a reported 8 1/2lb caught on Saturday as well,as i mentioned in the "Bass" post there was a nice bass caught as well,the groynes and the middle toilets are fishing as well at the minute.
