    Was up at first light and on the pier by half four , fished over the high tide till 9am. Had one knock on my beach caster but nothing to show . Even had a spell with the feathers just in case ! But again nothing . It was a good job i took my spinning rod though , baited with bits of bluey and a small bullet weight , i dropped it straight down the side . It was fish a drop , had 15 coalies in total all undersize but really enjoyed the fun. Not fished this way before but will certainly do it more now

    Better catching small stuff than blanking mate you will be surprised wot species are down there

        Try some float fishing nothing better than seeing the float go under.

        Age and experience will beat youth and enthusiasm every time.
