  • South Shields Pier

Fished South Shields pier last night to use up the rest of the fresh peeler crab and rag I got from reelsport, started off getting small stuff off the end mainly coley's and codling so decided to move down to the middle of the pier and soon got a bite it turned out to be the biggest short spine sea scorpion I've ever caught. I was using a one up one down rig with a size 2/0 hook on the top and a 1/0 on the bottom.

Read the species hunt thread. At the top in Shore fishing, there is a link there.
