Had a walk along Blyth beach today and the sea is flat.
Plenty colour in it.

Just been getting some fresh air and looking for chickens.

Think the sea's supposed to come away a bit for you tomorrow so they might scarper - could just be a stray codling around mind if it does lift. Probably still get a few on the pier though so long as you don't fall down a hole

There was one plank missing on the pier, at the end on the right.

That's ok then - you won't fall right through! Quite a few of the cross beams underneath must have got washed out though, they were up on the beach at the weekend & the end wasn't half swaying about when that last big S/E started to drop & lads went on.
