A wild day yesterday. Huge sea for this time of year. At times it was a struggle to stand up against the strong North Easterly wind!. Took a pic of the sea from behind Tynemouth pier

I watched a containership leave the piers, and promptly do a u turn & head back in!. It was like a real winter storm yesterday, not a "flaming June" weekend!
