Aie if this forecast is correct, they'll be some really good fish about as we haven't had a good good stir up for a long time. Fingers crossed we'll get a massive sea running.

Roker sea state, Looking very good compared to what it has been like.

Cheers again for the update Jimbob, had a look down Roker to see if pier was open this was about 3pm and yes it was open but the sea never looked big the way i was looking down at it but when i seen the sea side of Roker there was a good old Roll starting and it came over the pier a few times, i couldn't see one person fishing though i wish i had taken my gear down when i seen the seaside of the pier, Some good fish will be hanging about in that i reckon. I now from past experience the waves die down on the pier as the tide is going back, but there is a good sea starting to build up, worth a go at whitburn, Marsden etc if the weed isn't a problem. Good luck to everyone whos out over the weekend, i reckon they'll be one or two good fishing kicking about.
