Today we fished the Dillion Cup between 2-7pm.
74 Anglers including 5 ladies and a junior fished in a nice dirty sea with most taking up positions on their respective pegs on the pier.
Codlings soon began to show from the start with the low numbers appearing to be where the fish were.
As Darkness came the expected whiting failed to show in numbers with the better Codlings making an appearance.
Crab,Cart and Blacks looked like the preferred bait.

1st Neil Richardson 6 fish for 9.11lb (Blast)
2nd Gary Pye 5 fish for 8.82 (Pier)
3rd Ian Ainsley 4 fish for 7.74lb (Pier)
4th Gary Ramsden 4 fish for 7.50lb (Pier)
5th Danny Swan 4 fish for 5.54lb (Chems Cliffs)
Heaviest fish Ian Ainsley Codling for 3.36lb
Sealed weight 455
