Whitley Bay winter league 14/10

9 members fished in what looked like a lovely sea, but appearances can be deceptive and most marks refused to give up any fish; only three weighed-in 5 codlings as follows:

1st - Marty Elliot, 2 codlings 3lb 6oz incl. HF 2lb dead (Cullercoats/Whitley)
2nd - Russ Smith, 2 codlings 2lb 7oz (Whitley beach)
3rd - Mick Wood, 1 codling 1lb 1oz (Hartley)
