Here's the result from tonights match, fished over HW in a modest Northerly swell:

7 fished HW in a modest N swell, 4 weighed in-

    1st - Shaun Golightly - 3 flats, 2 codling, 3 whiting - 6lb 00 (Blyth Beach)
    2nd - Chris Stringer - 1 flat 9 whiting - 5lb 8oz (Blyth Beach)
    3rd - Mick Wood - 1 flat 2 codling - 3lb 9oz (Hartley) incl . HF codling 1lb 13oz
    4th - Iain Galbraith - 2 flats 1 codling - 2lb 9oz (Colleywell)

Blyth was hotching with undersize fish, lots of small whiting & flounders (if you were in the right place lol).

    Cheers, Gary

Yep I fished the wrong bit of the beach as well, moved up and down but could only manage a just undersize coalie and a couple of undersize flats. If I'd moved the other way to begin with it could have been different lol
