  • South Shields & District SAC - Monthly League Competition, 12th March 2017

    Hi all.

31 members (30 seniors and 1 junior) fished todays Monthly League match from 11am till 4pm in lovely calm conditions and sunshine.

The fishing however was poor, and only 1 member returned to the scales with fish. The top rod is as follows:

    1st - B. Garvin, 1 fish, 0lb 10ozs (5 Points + 1 Point for H/F)

    Heaviest Fish &
    Heaviest Bag - B. Garvin, 0lb 10ozs, Whiting

All members who fished but failed to weigh in receive 1 Point for attendance.

Well done to all who fished today, and well done to young B. Garvin on the win.

    Tight Lines.

Its been totally pants David, shame really but even the right conditions given haven't produced fish. Hopefully this settled weather will start the early arrival of the plaice.
