  • South Shields S.A.C - Monthly Comp, 25/03/2012

    Hi all.

    16 members fished today from 1pm till 6pm in foggy but lovely mild conditions. Shame the fishing wasnt as good as the weather, it was really poor apparently. 1 angler weighed in.

    1st - Steve Gordon, 1 Dab, 5ozs!!!


    That dab earned him a tidy £64! Well done that man.

      Got it 2nd last cast and I was in 2 minds to keep it or not, glad I did

            Do you hear me complaining?... I'm a well known and full time senior member of the Shields Club One fish is all takes to be a winning fish.

            Well JAMESWLONG1941, are gonna get out there and fish to put a catch report on here or are you just gonna keep posting on other peoples catch reports???

                      its that time of the year when its just crap! lol

                      I was out on the kayaks up blyth, only one codling about 2lb... good fun to be out, and catching fish on rods as soft as spinning rods

                        amazing how a short distant can have affects on fishing.the ice store area was lifting with good size coalys at n/shields between 10 and 2.30. was there no fish at the walkway oppisite. davy.

                          I did hear of one lad winning his club match from the walkway yesterday with a bag of coalies so they were about (don't know if he got as many as Peter & Kenny were getting) - guess the shields lads must have been up the pier where the fish weren't ??
