South Shields & District SAC - Monthly Competition, 31st July 2016

Hi all.

11 members fished yesterdays Monthly Competition from 9:30am till 2:30pm in bright but often blustery conditions.

3 members returned to the scales with fish. The top rods are as follows:


1st - H. Elliott, 1 fish, 2lb 5ozs (5 Points + 1 Point for H/F)

2nd - R. Patterson, 1 fish, 1lb 3ozs (4 Points)

3rd - D. Williams, 1 fish, 1lb 0ozs (3 Points)


Heaviest Fish - H. Elliott, 2lb 5ozs, Pollock

Heaviest Bag - H. Elliott, 2lb 5ozs


All members who fished but failed to weigh in receive 1 Point for attendance.

only one plaice was caught during the match which was 1lb 3oz, theres not been that many plaice on shields pier whilst i have been down this yaer , have heard of a few been caught but not as many as previous year s
hopefully a few more decent ones can get caught before season is over
