Hi all.

Today we held our annual Christmas fur 'n' feather competition fishing from 1pm till 5pm. A good time was had by all, with great food available includung a scrumptious Chilli Concarne and Chicken curry kindly donated by fellow club member Robert Lees. Down to business...

34 members fished, with 14 members weighing a total of 39 fish for 41lb 13ozs. The top rods were:


1st - Harry Elliot, weighing in 9lb 8ozs

2nd - Andrew Nickerson (me! ), weighing in 8lb 6ozs

3rd - Mark Wilkinson, weighing in 3lb 11ozs

4th - Robert Lees, weighing in 2lb 9ozs

5th - Geordie Cooper, weighing in 2lb 7ozs

6th - Alan Scott, weighing in 2lb 4ozs

7th - Phil Coates, weighing in 2lb 3ozs

Joint 9th - Kevin Hall and Russ Overton, both weighing in 2lb 2ozs

10th - Lee Jackson, weighing in 1lb 11ozs

11th - Dennis Wilkinson, weighing in 1lb 8ozs

Joint 13th - Robert 'bob' Patterson and Paul Smith, both weighing in 1lb 7ozs

14th - Derek Brownson, weigh in 7ozs .


Heaviest Fish: Harry Elliot, 4lb 8ozs
Heaviest Bag: Harry Elliot, 9lb 8ozs.

Well done to all club members who participated, a great way to end the 2011 Monthly Competitions. And It will all kickstart up again in January 2012.
