The Amble SAC junior singles comp was fished yesterday on the river Aln from 12.00 to 3.00pm.
Fish were VERY scarce, with only 2 flounder being weighed in.
15 year old Robert Cooperthwaite was the winner, with a very nice fish of 1 lb 7.5 oz
That was enough to win the pairs comp as well, with his partner 12 year old Conor Gray.
Runner up was Gordon Holland, 14, with a nice fish of 1 lb 1 oz.
