23 fished our xmas fur and feather competition with 6 weighing in.
1 Steve Elliott (Codonly) 2 fish for 3lb 3oz river tyne.
2 Mark Wilkinson 1 fish 1lb 12 oz.
3 Kevin Oliver 1 fish 1lb 8oz.
I have been informed that Steve Elliott had the heaviest fish at 1lb 15oz, and won a total of £185 for the heaviest fish and heaviest bag from the club match and also heaviest bag from the club,s coffers there was also plenty of fish taken on the pier and nearly all undersize. Myself, I chose to fish my favourite mark on the groyne and all the fish swam past my bait. But there,s always next year.
