    River Tyne sweepstake results

    12 anglers braved the minging first 2 hours,mainly codling caught with odd flounders and 2 eels.

    1st- Steve Potts - 20 fish 497cm
    2nd-Gav Owen -19 fish 450cm
    3rd Colin Bell- 13 fish 314cm

    Longest fish - Dave Delaney 39cm flounder.

      First 2 hours was awful Tony! Turned out ok in the end though,wind and rain both stopped and sun was trying to get out at one point!
