    Wrasse

I just can't bring myself to kill these fish just to weigh in. Anyone else feel the same way?

Or does anyone that kills them actually use them i.e. eat them?

I'm with you on this one but its not only the needless killing of Wrasse being caught in the small club comps but any fish when the simple answer is to have a catch&release.
So anyone passing the litter bin near the chippy at Beadnel were the weigh-in normally takes place would be over come by the smell of rotting fish once again.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught

Just to let you know, being the person catching the 3lb 9 wrasse in that competition. It was lip hooked weighed then released alive.
