14 members fished Tynemouth Pier 10 til 3 and 10 weighed in

1st Dog Spivey 2 plaice, 1 cod, 1 flounder,1 red mullet 6 lb 7 ozs
2nd Neil Garner 2 plaice, 1 dab, 1 flounder 3 lb 9 ozs
3rd Alan Barnes 1 wrasse 1 lb 5 ozs

H/F Neil Garner plaice 1 lb 8 ozs

Dougs Red Mullet was 1 lb 6 ozs and Mr Charlton is checking his local records to see if this a new north east record.

It should be in Journal today, and as far as I know it is the first one taken on rod and line from the North east.
