  • Northumbria Police SAC - South Shields 26th Jan 2014

    8 Anglers fished boundaries between Whitburn Bents Cottages and the Metro Tyne Bridge. Most chose river marks with the walkway being the most productive. Match fished catch and release with points awarded as per the SAMF score chart. Steve Foster took the biggest bag and biggest fish with a surprise catch of a 61cm Dogfish (89 points) from the Walkway.

    1. S.Foster 324 points 13 fish
    2. D.Nevin 196pts 8 fish
    3. M.Dunn 156pts 11 fish
    4. R.Archbold 144pts 7 fish
    5. F.Douglas 103pts 7 fish
    6. I.Jackson 74pts 7 fish

    2 x Blanks.

    Well done Steve on the biggest bag and the doggy from the Tyne, look forward to seeing the photos. Good effort the others who turned out. See yous at the regionals on 10th!

        Well done Steve and Dave. Did you lose much gear. Me and Ian J had nightmare there last time fishing low water. Ian lost about 8 rigs/sinkers and me 3. Would have fished there but was put off after last sesh.

            Photos on phone have all gone, I blame the operator of the phone last night, not mentioning any names. Apparently my phone doesn't recognise the SD card. There were a couple lads fishing just along from us who must have taken a photo and put it on Fishermans Locker but I have no idea how to view it.

            Mick, we started getting snagged about half way through the comp and lost some gear.

                See you weren't fishing Ian, is Mick Dunn the captain for Durham for regionals? Hear he was the top rod last year for your club!!
