    Results of Blyth Sea Angling Clubs away trip to the Mull om the west coast of scotland. Fished Sunday 17th June 5 hour catch and release competition. Points awarded for species then bonus points for every cm over size limit. Fish caught mainly pollock and wrasse.


    1st ian potter 17 fish for 259 points including longest 66cm pollock
    2nd chris kell 11 fish for 166 points
    3rd mick hardy 10 fish for 163 points including of different species 3
    4th dave todd 11 fish for 133 points
    5th paddy 6 fish for 132 points
    6th a tweddle 9 fish for 128 points
    7th n howitt 6 fish for 107 points
    8th g cavnor 8 fish for 105 points
    9th j fulcher 8 fish for 86 points
    10th d madderson 4 fish for 65 points
    11th g downie 7 fish for 59 points
    12th i greenacre 3 fish 40 points
    13th s clark dnw


    By all accounts maddy paddy and ian greenacre struggled after sitting up the night before consuming too many jars of the local amber nectarand felt a little green during the comp.

    well done to ian who had a cracking day.

          Marks around port patrick and port logan im told. Not be long for your trip over there but if its like previous years would image more drinking than fishing.

          At port patrick on tuesday in boat comp will keep you posted as plan to do a little shore fishing too!

            Plenty of drinking but still plenty of fishing. Pick it round the tides that let you do that. Simple!

            Was over there with the kids the other week, they loved it, nice grub in the pubs at night as well.

              Conditions no good for shore fishing so nothing to report. Even so boat comp still went a head and our team won so not all bad.
