    We had 28 members out tonight and 22 weighed in. There was just over 140 lb of fish (87 cod and 5 flounders.

    1st Brad Hill 17 cod 23 lb 8 ozs
    2nd Dave Rae 8 cod 1 flounder 14 lb 9 ozs 5 dms
    3rd Ken West 8 cod 14 lb 3 ozs

    H/F Dave Milne cod 5 lb 11 ozs 5 dms
    2nd H/F Dave Rae cod 3 lb 8 ozs 5 dms

    Sorry I can't tell you where all the fish came from as I didn't have a chance to ask, but I think most were from Whitley / Blyth beaches.

    Good result there Marty - there were plenty of fish at Blyth, so long as you were in the right place! (I wasn't) A few lads started at Whitley but had no bites & shifted.

        cheers Marty nearly as much fish as was weighed in, in the Shields open, they must have a bed kept for you these days, if you want a lift give me a shout

            I was going to go to megs burn but hadn't much diesel in car so chose Whitle , big mistake

              Meggies was very poor last night, me & Chris fished our match there - further down the beach is where the action was.
