    17 turned out today to fish Newton and 11 managed to weigh in as follows:

    1st - Garry Appleton - 6 fish 7lb 7oz winning £85
    2nd - George Hornsby - 3 fish 5lb 0oz winning £42.50
    3rd - Kenny Bowen - 2 fish 4lb 4oz
    4th - Steve Williams - 2 fish 3lb 11oz
    5th - Chris Potts - 3 fish 3lb 9oz
    6th - Andy Brown - 2 fish 3lb 7oz
    7th - Adam Burns - 2 fish 2lb 8oz
    8th - Alan Wood - 1 fish 2lb 6oz
    9th - Adam Watts - 1 fish 2lb 4oz
    10th - Dave Milne - 1 fish 1lb 12oz
    11th - Gary Wilson - 1 fish 1lb 11oz

    Heaviest Fish - Kenny Bowen, codling 3lb 5oz winning £42.50.
    Well done to all, lots of small & undersize codlings & poddlers around today despite a lumpy, coloured sea.

    Well done lads.
    Gary I fished along side one of the lads in the comp and had a right good crack on with him he's an Alnwick lad was wearing a red Titan smock and had 2 lovely red cod. That was until he moved so could of have a couple more. What's his name mate. Was just wondering to see how he did yesterday

              don't know I wasn't stalking him I know he had fish from the back as I was talking to Ian Hall who fished where I was

                  David, I know Ian usually wears a red top - but he had no fish yesterday - so as Nicky says I think it would have been Andy Brown.
