  • king eddies for plaice ?

I am thinking on giving king eddies a go for plaice. I thought that with ssp and tynemouth pier having a decent head of place, as well as the middens and the pipe skeers in whitey that it could be worth a shot ? What do you guys think ?

It does get a few plaice mate.... rocks either side of the beach and a sandbar maybe 80 - 100yds out at high tide... you will see where the waves sit up before breaking.

I have had half a dozen from here and a few good flounders but never really targeted them... im sure you can do well. As with anywhere else, spend some time down there and im sure you will do quite well. Fish the flood with the usual baits. Good luck
