Any ideas ? Pm me if you don't wanna day on an open forum. Ps I'm not a full time bait collector I only want some for the winter.

Don't know about Cumbria as such but my home ground is the lincs coast, not a rock or feature in sight but plenty of peeler to be found when the peel is on and you know where to look, firstly you will find loads more at night, any creek or gully is likely to find some, usually they will be partially buried in the soft sand, even better if there is a soft mud shelf, only needs to be an inch or two high run your hands under the ledge even better if it is still in a bit of water, any crab you find will almost def be a peeler, also any groins or sea defences, where water pools around the structure and stays at low water, the crab will bury themselves in the sand around the structure dig in and see what you find!! Like anywhere once you get to know where they are you can just look at something and know there will be some in there!! Happy hunting
