I had to call it off tonight after only one person turned up, last week\'s winner Johnny M.
I went to the Crown in the hope nobody would turn up, who would want to fish tonight ! giving the condition\'s for the time of year.
Anyway it\'s still on next Friday, surely it could\'nt get any worse.

Davey did out turn up after I had gone. got a club match tonight 8till1

Got two codling about 1 1/2 lb, on crab and mussel cocktail, 1 scotchie on runny and squid as well as a rockling.

After the tide turned got a decent whiting about 14oz on rag and mackerel.

The two lads fishing the small wall had 3 undersize codling.

Got sick loosing mine. Keep putting them down and forgetting them. Now got about 3 or 4 rolls stashed in various packets and wallets around my box.

Davey it\'s good to see fish on all baits. We might see those 1 1/2 pounda\'s turnin into 2-3 pounda\'s soon. There out there just need to get past the small stuff.
