MACKEREL ??

Any mackerel getting caught from Seaham pier ? I\'ve just come back from Blyth pier and there were none caught this morning (Wednesday 16th). Lots of Launce chasing small sand eels & a couple of small coalies caught but no sign of any mackerel.
Can any one tell me what the sea conditions are like at Seaham at the moment. Quite smooth at Blyth, but the west pier gets a lot of shelter from Cambois pier.

its not bad at seaham at the moment water wise no macky for about a week lots of small coalies thats about it some codling around also im heading down friday for few hours might see you about
