  • Seal washed up

Just saw a sad sight, went down to the Tyne estuary for some sea water after work and saw a seal washed up on the rocks next to the restaraunt on Shields pier. Wasnt nice sight as it was minus its head and ripped on its stomach, anybody any ideas on who to contact to get it removed as it wouldnt be too nice for any kids to see?

Dial 101 which is the new number for non urgent enquiries like this. The call center should pass the info on to cleansing dept or whoever is responsible to clearing it up.
A bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.

Jeremy Clarkson passed comment about it in his column in the News Review section of The Sunday Times this weekend

Normally I find him fairly funny but I\'m not sure this week.

"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"
