  • Floatation suit help please.

I've just bought a sun ridge sas mk7 one piece floatation suit off eBay. New with tags. £23

I've never had one before so what's the best way to clean it and just look after it?
    All the gear, no idea.

Do what I do, catch bugger all, that way it never gets dirty!

Lynn however put hers in the shower with some fairy liquid, seems to work.

Every 6 month or so I put mine in washer on a cold wash, no softener or powder just a bit nip wax,you get it from great outdoors it protects waterproofs, and never had any problems and is still water proof!! Hope it helps, also heard of people pressure washing them down???

shortest wash washing machine. then spin cycle ... dry it in the sun(if it ever comes out, couple of febreeze sprays on the inside. when dry aply nikwax spray or other some other waterproofing spray , had mine for 3 yrs and still going strong and waterproof.

Mine lives permanantly in the boot of the car (along with my Muckboots). That way I never forget it. During winter it is so cold the smell never bothers the FPO; in summer if it's getting a bit ripe I know it's time to open the car windows
