I fished a mark on blyth pier thursday called the x its called the x because someone carved an x into the wood on the pier, casting stright from the x there is a long line of kelp, so casting into the kelp is the spot, u do need a good cast to reach the mark tho.
Anyway first sast i got a lobster of around 2 - 2 1/2 lbs.
Chuffed.
I remined bitless for a good hour or two and started to get sick and wasting good bait (fresh peeler crab + fresh mussel) but i stayed until dark so i could try out my new headlight (the new tiga).Brilliant headlamp but not sure its worth all the money.
I pulled in a codling between 1lb - 1 1/2lbs then decided to head for home.
