never really thought about ti before. GO down at low tide to where I moor, half a dozen or so fork fulls usually turns up enough for an afternoons fishing. Bleedin\' monsters they are as well, the bigguns regularly exceed a foot long and half inch thick. get quite a few harbour/white rag as well.

there\'s plenty of king rag opposite side of the peninsula, but they scare me!

at that price, you could get the petrol money back, have a cracking days fishing and bring plenty back for the winter

if you are willing to pay that price for it no doubt they will keep putting the price up. Only way to get the price dropped is dont buy it.

I\'m with Tony on this one - 45p for one lug is a joke (and not a very funny one!).

Great bait but always overpriced, handy to keep in the freezer for a back up if bait is in short supply or if you fancy a last minute session
                          Cheers Alan...

There used to be loads of runnydown on the beaches at Hartlepool when i was a lad so that was over 30 years ago.I remember one storm when buckets full were washed up. Now there is none. Some blame the miners strike when they were dug out for cash and others say its pollution. Either way they aint there no more.
Its £5 for 10 in Friarage tackle.Hartlepool and cheaper at £3:50 in the tackle shop at seaham.
